The Fishers in La Paz, Bolivia

Not much time to write. We have been here a week and are a little limited, not having Internet at home and having had a very busy week (accomplishments were made: we went up 2,500 feet and back down in a taxi to get our washing machine, we have successfully eaten yummy salteñas without making a mess, Anne has ordered ice cream (helados) for herself and Avery, we have groceries, we know where to get lightbulbs and really good cheap bread, and neither of us has died from altitude sickness), and we praise the Lord!

The staff here is awesome, as are the people of Bolivia. Avery, age three, loves the taxi rides down the mountain road from el Central to our apartment in Achumani. Anne is a trooper and is determined to try her… basic but growing… Spanish a little every day.

We start school stuff tomorrow and the kids come in a week.

I think we may have found just the place to get online until we get it in our apartment, so we should be posting more, really soon!
