Yes, it has been a red letter weekend.  Alleluias, all around (seriously; God has been so encouraging this weekend)!

Not only did many of my school materials (ordered back in May, I believe!) come thru customs (which means I should be able to actually test and more effectively teach my students sometime Monday), but the Fishers of La Paz finally have Internet connection at home (I write this post, giddy as a little child on Christmas Day, from our dining room) as well.  This particular blessing has many other implications…

While we are now faced with less reason to go to the local Wi Fi hotspot/gelato place (I’m sure we’ll find an excuse to go there), we are also not limited in our blogging/emailing/surfing time.  That means we have time to do the essentials: order the new Caedmon’s Call CD (who cares if I don’t see it till we return to the States for Christmas?  It’s gonna be awesome); catch up on the news (not that that’s always a good thing); search for resources to help our school’s teachers (as Elementary principal and EFL teacher respectively, Anne and I tend to primarily be resource people, which is a role that fits us both well); Skype (ahhhhh, wonderful Skype) our loved ones (by the way, here’s a good time to remind you: our Skype number, 704-765-1926 is a US number and if you leave us a voicemail we can now call you back really soon!); and (perhaps most importantly for those miss us) take the time to post photos on this here blog.

So, in my next post, I will just post a few photos that you might enjoy seeing…

Chau for now.
