Abby went out for a walk. Then she saw a wolf. And then she couldn’t believe her eyes. She said, “Mother, Mother! Come quick! I met a wolf.” Mother came along. She said, “Oh, dear, that’s only a friendly wolf.” And then the daughter said, “Hello, wolf.” The wolf said, “Hello.” Then the mother went out with the friendly baby girl wolf. So then the wolf said, “I like mac and cheese.” The mother said, “I brought three bowls of macaroni.” They ate it at night, and when they woke up, they felt refreshed.
The End

Hi Avery: I really liked your story and I also really like mac and cheese! The girl in your story was very smart to go to her Mother before she went to the wolf. I taught preschool with your Grandma Lou when your Mommy was young. The children in my class were your age at the time but I’m sure none of them could have written such a good story. Thank you for sharing. God bless you, Elaine

What a great story! I think we have a future Pulitzer Prize winner on our hands. I printed it so we will always have a copy of that to show Avery when she is famous. Elaine and I remember many songs and stories from years past.
